And so in honor of All Fools Day, we’re featuring one of our favorite charities’ raising money through humor. Introducing Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen’sHilarity for Charity which looks to “Kick Alz in the Ballz”.
CARTOON: THE NEW YORKER
The Rogen’s founded Hilarity for Charity in 2012 to help the millennial generation better understand Alheimerz’s through awareness and advocacy. Since it’s genesis, the charity has raised over $10 million for charity, $7 million of which have gone to helping families struggling to support affected family members, Alzheimers support groups, and scientific research.
Every year, the charity hosts its infamous Variety Show (last year’s show streamed on Netflix) with a variety of top and rising comedic talent like Snoop Dogg, Sarah Silverman, Bill Hader, and Michelle Wolf.
