Hey kids, Happy International Day of Happiness!

Every year on March 20th, we celebrate and brainstorm ways to be happier, healthier humans. This year’s theme is “happier together” and seeks to navigate and reinforce the glue that binds humanity.

While Mental Health Awareness Month takes place every May, International Day of Happiness is a good reminder to check in on yourself. How you doin’?Check in on your friends:How are those cats doin’? Your family:What’s good Mom? And offer a few more smiles to strangers in passing, because it’s true, we’re happier together.

Though sometimes that’s much easier said than done. And that’s okay. Sometimes we’re sad, our friends are sad, or our Mom is sad—even on International Day of Happiness. If it seems to be worse than normal, or, you’re looking to get some reliable information on mental health, check outMental Health from National Institute of Mental Health, or one of our favorite non-profits leading the charge on mental health likeActive Minds orThe Trevor Project, and look to spread the love.
